The Lucille Ball Little Theatre Of Jamestown

Okay so this was my "transition" period of my life. I had left Ohio, and moved back to New York. Well to keep my sanity (yeah, right) I got involved with these great people. Now, some ten years later, going back through these pictures to be scanned, there are so many people who I have lost touch with. If you are seeing this sight, and knew me from my LTJ days, drop me a line!

There were a ton of pictures in my albums from this time. Many from sets, and productions. I chose these photos because they stood out in my memories. Let's get started.

Go Lights....
Go Curtain...

Hey Forgot that Vince Joy was the dead girl!!!

The three most important people to me at LTJ
In no particular order....

Here's Alan & Ron. Now Alan & I lived together for about two years before Ron stole him away from me.
Okay We were roommates, nothing more, but Alan was a kindred spirit. He always had a calming effect on me.
I was the one who finally convinced him that he needed to shack up with Ron.  Now after I
almost killed Alan twice, (Once in a car wreck, the other was an almost decapitation by a celling fan at the Nite Spot) I still wish he was a part of my daily life!

Now here is Ron. Ron is a counter diction in life. He is a great guy, and a hell of a TD. Ron and I sat and talked a many long nights at the bar at the Nite Spot. Hell, after a few of Linda's drinks, we could figure out any and all of the worlds problems. My favorite memory of Ron was on my Birthday, (What ever year the Buffalo Bills went to the super bowl the first time) It was a hell of a blizzard. Now Ron lived on 8th Street, at the top of the hill. Now it must have snowed at least two feet that day, the roads were closed, and we decided to body slide down the hill, right into Windsor Avenue. We had so much fun that night.

Mel.
My yang to her ying. Now she was the best of my discovery of new friends at LTJ. She got me over my fear of hights (I still remember changing my first light on the catwalk. It took me an hour I think. She was a jack of all trades. Owning her dance studio, raising her son, and being the master electrician guru of LTJ.
Now Mel lives in Florida, she's married and has spawned another child! (EWWW Alexis, what did you do darling?)

No this is the part that is hard, I have lost contact with these three people who were very important to me some 15 years ago. My 2002 resolution - find them and try to catch up.

In the green room - Alan, Diane (Who is one of the best seamstresses in the world,
Mel & (Beats me, do you know?)

Ben veggin in the green room.
BTW- If that Dr. Pepper machine is still in the green room,
I set that deal up!

Vince Joy, getting ready for a show.

Now, after drinking all night Saturday night,
we made a weekly trek to Sunday brunch.
These photos were from my last brunch.
I was heading to Florida the following week.
Ron, Ed Kulig, Sue, (I don't remember his name), Rick Cheeny

Another angle. God we loved Sunday brunch at Alfies.

This is Jodi Lane. (She is sooo good looking)
Jodi hosts the local TV talk show, and she and I had always hit it off.
While we were promoting the Celebrity Waiters for the American Heart Association,
she allowed us to "pie" her on her show. Jodi, you are one class act!

Vince Joy, and Jodi at brunch

Now one night at Mel's we decided that after partying we needed to go outside and play Frisbee.

God, look at all the filling in my mouth.
Thank God now when I open my mouth all you see is white!
Thank god for cosmetic dentistry!

Who knew that Ben could fly through the air?

Now this is the cast party from "The Nerd". It's the guy who's name I can't remember,
Ed, and it looks like the back of Peggy's head.

Now Ron got the bright idea to take the boats out for a spin.
Alan watches in disbelief.

Paddle Ron, Paddle

So when everyone goes out onto the dock,
some smart asses (don't look at me) decide to take the last segment of the dock off,
 stranding them on the dock!

So what do they do? Decide to "pole vault" to the shore!
Now, the water here is about two feet deep.
Hey, but they all are thespians, and never take the easy road!

Now I was the stage manager during the Nerd.
This is where I hung out. Mel gave me Roger Rabbit,
and he staid with me at LTJ, in whatever I did.
Today Roger is in my bedroom.

Lucy Arnez, her husband Larry Luckinbull, an there daughter kick off the first
Lucy Fest!

A great shot of City hall in the background

At the rededication of Little Theatre of Jamestown, to
The Lucille Ball Little Theatre Of Jamestown

Guess it was cool from their point of view too..

What the front of LTJ looks like now...

Downstairs in the green room after the rededication of the building

Look at the look on Ron's face, Lucy's face, and my Face.
Did the kid just pick out a buger in front of all of us or what?

Posing for a picture, but I got half cut out! ;~(

Ron, Lucy, and Alan

Okay this was the night LTJ became the Lucille Ball Little Theatre Of Jamestown.
Lucy Arnez was a hoot.

Kevin, Sue, Jon, (Wendi?) (I Can't remember), Ron, Lucy Arnez, and me
